Restored ~ Kevin Mark Smith

Restored ~ Kevin Mark Smith

Job uncovers an embezzlement scheme at work and reports the crime to his boss, who is murdered before Job can tell anyone else about what he found. Instead of being rewarded for his honesty and integrity, he stands accused of murdering his boss and best friend. He loses his career, wealth, wife, and family and faces prison for the murder. Will the truth set Job free? Will God restore all that Job lost? Restored is a contemporary twist on the timeless tale of faithfulness in the face of unbearable trials and tribulations.

My Review:
A man wrongfully accused of a murder, his life falling apart, his wife and baby daughter, estranged, yet Job hangs on to his beliefs and prays for exoneration.

With the help of a young lawyer, the DA’s platform unravels and things look up for Job, but not before other possibly impeding testimony takes place.

Kevin Mark Smith writes a compelling novel played out in the courtroom. The nuisances of proceedings were intriguing and the situations surrounding the murder investigation were so intense it could have come from a true-life crime. Well, done and thoroughly enjoyed.
